Gramco delivered a lecture at a webinar hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Singapore (JCCI).

Information

On August 5, 2020, Gramco was invited to participate in the August Members' Webinar hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Singapore (JCCI). CEO Atsuro Yamada, Consulting Director Kazuo Shimizu, and Chief Consultant Yui Uchigaki delivered a talk on "Branding in the With/After COVID Era - The Concept of Purpose Branding." Approximately 150 JCCI members attended the event.

COVID changed people's lifestyles and work styles as well as their actual sense of values. With the emergence of Generation Z, the nature of corporate branding itself is beginning to change.

The webinar discussed the global trend of "Purpose Branding" and its importance, the relationship between SDGs and corporate activities, and how to communicate internally and externally, using examples.

After the lecture, JCCI Secretary-General Ryosuke Shimizu facilitated a Q&A session with the participants. The attendees asked questions about the first steps in branding, differences in branding efforts between B2B and B2C companies, and challenges and positioning of branding for Japanese companies compared to their global counterparts.

Gramco has also adopted a remote branding method, which allows us to provide branding support to our clients remotely during COVID in ways similar to the pre-pandemic era.

We intend to incorporate these methods to further expand our services in Asia in collaboration with ABC Horizon, our partner in Singapore and the coordinator of this webinar.
